Operations and  Physician Relations

Rae has been involved in diverse settings within the medical community for over seven years. Within these settings she has marketed everything from pharmaceuticals to surgical implants and has been employed by one of the most well respected companies in the medical industry, Johnson & Johnson. Her intense interest and respect for the medical community is what led her to her next career path…Blue Star Imaging. Combining Rae's skill sets she acquired from Johnson & Johnson along with partnering with the many talented individuals within the Dallas Cowboys organization, Blue Star Imaging was created.

Rae is routinely involved with several charitable organizations within the Dallas-Fort Worth area. She attended Rice University and her other interests include snowboarding, hiking, and fly-fishing.

Physician Relations

As a Physicians Relations Representative, Chris gives Blue Star Imaging an extra boost with his lengthy history in emergency medicine, beginning when he moved to Texas in 1985. Shortly upon arriving in Texas, Chris pursued his dream of becoming a firefighter/paramedic and has been with the City of Lewisville Fire Department since 1988. Chris has worked with a local imaging center covering contrast injections for MRI patients where he was given the opportunity to expand his role and became their senior marketing representative.

Chris grew up in Kenosha, Wisconsin and attended the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh where he played baseball for the Titans. Chris married his high school sweetheart, Megan, in 1988 and they have two children. Chris enjoys spending time with his family, being involved in his church, and riding his Harley.

Lisa Sarvay
Patient Care Coordinator

Lisa's expertise in the daily hands-on operations of medical offices gives Blue Star Imaging its leading edge with patients, doctors and the doctors' offices. Lisa has worked in the medical community for over ten years serving as Office Manager, Financial Manager and Treatment Coordinator in doctors offices. She has been an integral part of Blue Star Imaging from its beginning assisting Rae with getting the center up and running. During the early months of Blue Star Imaging's conception, Lisa worked in the Accounting and Marketing departments within the Dallas Cowboys organization and as a result is able to apply the Dallas Cowboys' principals to Blue Star Imaging.

In her spare time Lisa enjoys volunteering with the Dallas Cowboys organization for marketing and community-related events. She, along with her husband, Mike, are big football fans, both being a life-long supporters of the Dallas Cowboys in addition to supporting the Dallas Desperados arena football team.

 

 

Will Hernandez

 

 

 

Will Hernandez
R.T.(M) (R) MRI Technologist

Moving to Dallas in 2001, Will was the lead technologist at Baylor Richardson Medical Center before joining Blue Star Imaging. Prior to his move to Dallas, Will lived in Houston and was the MRI supervisor for River Oaks Imaging Center and St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital. Will's extensive experience on high, mid and low field magnets (including Philips, GE and Fonar) combined with his wide range of scanning experience (including neurological, orthopedic, abdominal and vascular studies) gives Blue Star Imaging one up on the competition.

Will earned his Associate Degree in Radiology in his home town of El Paso, Texas, and is bilingual, being fluent in Spanish. He is licensed and in good standing with ARRT and the Texas Health Commission, in addition to being a member of ASRT.

Will was born in El Paso, Texas and is married with two grown daughters. Will's hobbies include cycling, gardening, antiques, and wine collecting.

 

Nancy Kim

 

 

 

Nancy Kim
RDMS Ultrasound Technologist

Nancy's desire to follow in her family's footsteps and have a career in the health care field led her to join Blue Star Imaging. In 1995 Nancy earned her Associates Degree in Radiologic Sciences in Houston, Texas. She then came to Dallas and pursued her certificate degree in ultrasound at El Centro in 1997. Nancy has since worked in a number of health care facilities including Presbyterian Hospital of Plano and Baylor Regional Medical Center at Plano. She is knowledgeable in many areas of the sonography field including general, pediatric, abdominal and peripheral vascular ultrasound.

Nancy was born in Cleveland, Ohio and grew up in Port Arthur, Texas. She and her husband, Tony, have a young daughter, Morgan, and a son, Mason. Nancy enjoys spending time with her family, photography, cooking and traveling.
